Antanas Feliksas Orliukas was born
25 September in Lazdijai
region Varviske in 1945.
He graduated from the Faculty of Physics Vilnius
University (VU) in 1971 and received the diploma of Physicist (radiophysics).
1976 Awarded Degree of PhD in
Semiconductor and Dielectric Physics;
1976-1977 Visiting Researcher, Institute of Technology Zurich, Switzerland;
1983-1996 Associate Professor, Department of Radiophysics, Vilnius University,
Vilnius;
1989-1993 Visiting Researcher, Institute of Technology Zurich, Switzerland;
1995 Awarded Degree of Habil Doctor of Sciences in Solid State Physics;
1996 Professor of Department of Radiophysics, Vilnius University, Vilnius;
1997 Awarded Lithuanian National Science Prize;
1995 Research and seminars at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universiy, Greifsvald, Germany
1996, 1997, 1998, 2000 Research and seminars at Warsaw University of Technology,

Professor A.F.Orliukas has authored more then 130 papers and more than 100
presentation in conferences.
He published 2 books "Solid state ionics part I and
part II" (1996) for the students.

engineering and applications.
