Gedvidas BIKULČIUS was born in Zarasai district, Lithuania, in 1953. He graduated from Kaunas Technology University in 1976.
He is a senior reseacher associate at the department of Corrosion Investigation of the Institute of Chemistry in Vilnius.
He has Dr. Ph. in Chemistry this thesis “Adhesion properties of ABS plastcs, 1992”, also at Institute of Chemistry.
Dr. Gedvidas BIKULČIUS in 1997 German Accreditation System for Testing GmbH Council gave me expert qualification of test laboratories. From 2001 he is this Chairman of Technical Committee TC 7 “COATINGS”.
Dr. G. BIKULČIUS has authored more than 60 papers.
His hoby is swimming, law teniss and mountain skiing.

 Field of scientific studies :
His current research interests are physical and mechanical investigations of inorganic and organic coatings, metals and their alloys and corrosion.
