Saulius Diliūnas was born in Kaunas, Lithuania, in 1972.
He graduated from Kaunas University of Technology in 1996 with Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
He earned Doctor of Science degree in Technology at Kaunas University of Technology in 2000.
He defended doctoral thesis on construction simulation of materials for footwear bottom.
Since 2001, he is an Associated Professor at Kaunas University of Technology.
He is a co-author of more than ten journal articles.

 Field of scientific studies :

His current research is related to the stress-strain influence on different constructions of soft polymeric materials, optimization of geometry of the following constructions.
