Stanislavas Sakalauskas |
Stanislavas Sakalauskas was born in Anykščiai
district, Lithuania, in 1940.
He graduated from Kaunas Polytechnic
Institute (at present Kaunas Technological University) in 1963 and received
radio engineer speciality and began to work in Semiconductor physics laboratory
at Vilnius University.
He received Doctor degree in Technology science (Design equipment for
investigation of electric potential microdistribution in high resistance
semiconductors) in 1971, and Habilitated Doctor degree (Basis of contactless
microelectronic transducers design) in 1990.
Since 1972 he works at Semiconductor physics department at Vilnius University
(since 1976 associate professor, and since 1991 professor).
Also he works at Institute of Material Science and Applied Research since 1994.
He is author of 200 papers, some educational books, and co-author of some
dictionaries.
Research fields:
Contactless capacitic transducers for
measurement of physical values and transducers application for investigation of
semiconductors and their structures.
